Cooperation with HRK Partners in Australia & Oceania
The German Rectors' Conference (HRK) attaches great value to cooperation with higher education institutions and science organisations in Asia, Australia and Oceania. In order to further increase mutual cooperation, a liaison office for the Asia-Pacific region was established at the HRK in 1996 with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The office was integrated into the HRK secretariate in 1998.
The HRK holds regular consultations with partner associations in the Asia-Pacific region on higher education policy issues and organises joint seminars on current topics regarding higher education.
