Abstract This paper outlines the key data and metrics that are being used to assure and assess quality and standards in United Kingdom (UK) higher education. It is a brief overview of data-driven reforms to quality assurance in the UK in recent years. This is a fascinating time in UK quality assurance. Written shortly after a general election and against the backdrop of the Brexit negotiations, we also consider the politics and policy that led to these reforms. (HRK / Abstract übernommen)
