Abstract
|
India has belatedly recognised the importance of internationalisation of its higher education sector. In recent years, the Indian government has taken steps to promote greater collaboration between Indian and foreign academics and launched new initiatives to attract larger numbers of foreign students and faculty to its universities. The recently-released draft National Education Policy 2019 which will be finalised in the coming months has also recognised the importance of internationalisation in higher education. At this stage, however, it is too early to know whether ongoing efforts in internationalisation will succeed and to what extent. (HRK / Abstract übernommen) |
