Abstract This chapter looks at a new frontier in the internationalization of online education: providing access to higher education to those who have fled conflicts. It details the work of Kiron Open Higher Education (KOHE) and Jesuit Worldwide Learning: Higher Education at the Margins (JWL) to create routes to higher learning for refugees through online courses. It outlines the barriers refugees face when attempting to access and complete online higher education courses, and the practical approaches that KOHE and JWL have adopted to meet their needs, before considering the challenges ahead.(HRK / Abstract übernommen)
